Cheat Mode

To be able to activate the following cheats at the 'Options' menu Collect the indicated number of hidden Rockstar barrels. Remember that when you activate the cheats your progress in Career mode will become disabled.

Unlimited Nitro:
Collect 10 barrels.

Never Damage Out:
Collect 20 barrels.

Unlimited Special Abilities:
Collect 30 barrels.

Top Down View:
Collect 40 barrels.

No Police:
Collect 50 barrels.

No Fines:
Collect 60 barrels.

Cheats

Ok,Go to the "Garage", and select "Customize Your Car". Navigate to "Performance Parts", and press X – do not press A. Instead, press the glowing X button to go to the Xbox 360 Guide. Go to the friends list (or recent players list), and join a session. Start a multiplayer match (choose "OK"). When you get on the street, you will have the parts installed with no money deducted. When you quit out they will still be installed,theres your free parts.

Unlock Infinite Money

When you complete Career mode this feature will become unlocked.

Unlock Additional Cars

Win the indicated events to unlock the corresponding bonus cars in 'LA Career' mode.

Unlock 2004 Ford SVT Focus:
Win 'Cool Breeze' series race.

Unlock 2004 Ford Cobra Concept:
Win '10 Carat Beatdown' series race.

Unlock 1969 Chevrolet Camara RS SS:
Win 'Bird On The Line' series race.

Finding Collectibles without Police Interference

If you go to any garage and select any vehicle for a test drive you will be able to search through malls or other places without cops being called in to investigate.

Catch Freeway Racer

Enable the 'No Damage' and 'Unlimited Nitro' cheats when you see a red target far away on the map and you will reach it quickly. When you have almost caught up switch off both cheats and you will keep your reputation and money intact.

Get rid of Police

When you are in a race and want to get rid of police use the following trick. Finish the race and enable the 'No police' cheat and then turn it off again. Doing this will make the police disappear and will not effect anything you do afterward.

Reach Destination without Driving

You can avoid driving all the way across LA by doing either of the following two things. The first way involves going into Race Editor mode, switching off Drive and Drop mode, then moving the pointer to the place you want to be. Switch Drive and Drop mode back on and exit Race Editor mode and you will be at the place you selected. The second way is to go into Arcade Mode and select a race that starts near where you want to be. Begin the race and exit it immediately and you will be at that spot.

Unlock Hydraulics and Air Bags

These become available for your Gamertag when you join the Rockstar Social Club and complete four of the twelve 'Driving Test' achievements listed on the website. If you already have four of the achievments completed you will unlock hydraulics and air bags just by joining the Rockstar Social Club and linking your Gamertag.

Custom Items

Customizable items for the diffent classes (Luxury, Tuners, Muscles, Exotics or Superbikes) will become available when you have participated in the indicated number of races.
